Create a personalized birthday song using recordings of your own voice. Project X uses AI-assisted singing conversion to help the finished song sound like you.

Explore the songs first
 
Browse 14 music genres and listen to excerpts from all 56 songs—four songs in each genre. You can explore the choices before recording or placing an order.
 
Get ready to record
 
You must be 18 or older, signed in to your own account, and recording your own voice.

You can use a phone, tablet, or a microphone connected to your computer. An earbud microphone can also provide reasonable results in a quiet setting. You do not need a professional recording studio.

Choose a quiet space without background music or interruptions. Keep your microphone at a consistent distance and complete the microphone check before beginning.
 
Follow the guided sections
 
The recording page takes you through eight sections, one at a time. Each section includes an audio demonstration so you can hear what to do before recording.

Allow approximately 10–20 minutes for recording, with extra time to listen to demonstrations or repeat takes.

Use your lower, middle, and comfortably higher notes to capture more of your vocal range. Never force a high note or strain your voice.
You can repeat any section for better results.

You may also record an optional personal message of up to six seconds to include at the end of your song. This message is kept separate from the recordings used to train your voice profile.
 
What happens after recording
 
When you submit your recordings, Project X prepares your voice profile and checks it for use in song creation. Project X automatically selects a suitable key for your voice.

Preparation is not instant. Timing varies with the recordings and the processing queue.

You can check the Voice Profile Progress page for updates. Please avoid submitting the same recordings again while waiting.
 
What to expect from your song
 
Your recording quality and the way your voice works with the selected song can affect the result.

AI-assisted conversion cannot guarantee an exact reproduction of your natural singing voice. Unusual sounds, pronunciation differences, or other audible imperfections may occur.

We check finished songs for technical processing issues.

When your order is complete, we will email the finished MP3 to you so you can share it with the birthday recipient.
 
Your voice and your choices
 
Before recording, you will review and agree to the voice recording consent information on the Voice Capture page.

Keeping your recordings and voice profile for future birthday gifts is optional.

Participation in our improvement program is also optional, voluntary, and unpaid.

These are separate choices. Declining either does not affect your current order.
